The Heroku Command Line Interface (CLI), formerly known as the Heroku Toolbelt, is a tool for creating and managing Heroku apps from the command line / shell of various operating systems. It will automatically update itself, the internal version of node, and any installed CLI plugins.
This is a manual install method that can be used in environments where autoupdating is not ideal or where we do not offer a prebuilt binary.
