My other complaint would be that your providors show do more than the text notification that your about to go over.
It does not work when i put a bock on the limit I want so that feature is not good for me.
I find it very very difficult to manage the data with my shared "family" plan.
They say it's .1mb, and every month we have to watch and call and have it removed.
As well, they have allowed our children to add on data, even after I have removed them from data as it's so difficult to manage.
Yes, i am comfortable with deciding what a new phone I need but the plan not so much.
Overage fees is still hard to understand and manage.Like my plan is 50 for 2gbs and calling/texting but if i want a iphone add 30 dollars a month, and I pay 194 plus taxes in store for the remainder, or I have the option to pay 50 plus 20 if I paid 434 plus taxes in store for the phone-just more options. What exactly are you doing to curtail the blatant overcharging of customer for mobile service in Canada? Why as a personal plan I have to pay nearly 0.00 a month for unlimited calling with 3 gigs of data when in the USA a client can get 5 gigs plus unlimited text and calling from Verison cellular for - per month. GROW A BACKBONE AND PROTECT THE RIGHTS OF CANADIANS!!! When it comes to cellular rates Canadians are being ripped off (have been for many years) and you do nothing!!!! PLEASE STAND UP FOR LOWER PLAN RATES (COMPARABLE TO USA) You are supposed to be a regulator aren't you??? 2 year contracts only increased monthly rate plans and device costs. If you are not fortunate enough to live in an area with a 4th carrier, you pay twice what SK, MB and QC pay. These carriers post record profits yet constantly increase rates for less service.Because as a consumer it looks like you are doing NOTHING. It's almost at the point where I could go south of the boarder to get a plan and use it in Toronto and still pay less than I would with a plan from Rogers/Bell/Telus. As it stands, you do not appear to be interested in price regulation as changing from 3 yr plans to 2 yr plans just increased the price we pay per month... Bell is eyeing MTS to kill competition in MB, which would allow them to hike rates to ON-BC levels. We need to get rid of obscenely low data allowances for rediculously high prices. For me to have the same thing I have to pay 145 plus taxes.Thats incredibly not fair to me as an Ontario resident that just because I live her I have to pay wayy more..They seem to vary rather than just be a flat rate, and are not always outright posted.
